Mortal Instrument Series by Cassandra Clare

Cassandra Clare does and amazing job in this trilogy.  There are three books in the trilogy (hence the word trilogy, eh?).  The first book is called "City of Bones", next is "City of Ashes", then "City of Glass".   I have been hearing praises about them for several months now, but was just recently  in a place where I could lose myself in them.

I ventured into this journey due to my love for a good supernatural adventure.   These books will give that to you.  There is a great mix of the demons,  vamps, weres, fae,  and warlocks.

Also, a new supernatural mix is presented here, the Shadowhunters.  The Shadowhunters are kick butt, and their history is rather complex and interesting to me... the "mundane" (those of you who have read them, will get that).  So, with the shadowhunters, you will be introduced to the world of "angels".

Cassandra gives us so many great characters to relate to and build a bond with, it is hard to choose just one or two that I will miss.   Some of my faves are Jace, Simon, Alec, Luke, Clary, and Mangus Bane.    These stories take place in New York City as well as many other areas specific to the Shadowhunter history.

I will read these books again, as I am sure I will notice all new things the second time around, as there is so much description and history to remember and learn of the characters.  The Moral Instrument series will be on my favorite list.  Hope you give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

"If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all."
